TH 450 introduces students to the rich tradition of Catholic Social Teaching (CST) and its biblical foundation. Using CST as a lens, students will examine and analyze various justice issues at work in the world today such as education, poverty, hunger, child labor and exploitation, war, and sexism. Through reading, writing and conversation, we will examine how people of faith are working for justice and how we endeavor to apply these principles in our world and in our lives. TH 450 is one of the 2 capstone courses required for all graduates of Notre Dame College, the other being PH 480, that ground students in our college's mission of preparing them for personal, professional, and global responsibility.
