Instructional Strategies for students with Mild and Moderate disabilities provides both the theoretical and practical knowledge and skills required to determine, develop, design or individualize instruction, based on data from assessments of learner needs, across various educational domains, for students with disabilities. A variety of instructional strategies and technologies to encourage and ensure successful student participation in general and special education curriculum classes will be investigated and discussed. Developing appropriate adaptations and accommodations, which ensure both the regular and special education teacher will meet the individuals’ educational goals and objectives, will be explored in depth. Practical application of instructional strategies will include methods for planning and monitoring instruction, choosing and developing materials, and integrating technology to enhance the development of teaching competencies.
