This course is designed to utilize the information learned in education courses 221, 376, 335 and 332. Students will be expected to observe literacy related philosophies and best practices within a classroom. Observations will focus on the areas of reading: comprehension, writing, word attack, vocabulary, technology, organizing for literacy, and assessment. Students will also teach two literacy classes under the supervision of the classroom teacher and a college supervisor. Students will also be given the NDC education dispositions to apply to the teaching situation.
