The Student Teaching Seminar is a preservice professional gathering that allows the student teachers the opportunity to review, brainstorm, share, and compare theoretical perspectives considered in coursework and now applied to the classroom. During each session, these new professionals will discuss the challenges and opportunities offered in every day lesson planning, use of assessments, and collaborative relationships. Emphasis will be on enhancing each one's professional practice through thoughtful reflection on feedback from their cooperating teacher and supervisor. The seminar leaders guide the student teachers as they document their effectiveness in the integrated Teacher Performance Assessment required by the Ohio Board of Regents.
